On the evening of Thursday, May 15, 2025, more than 200 guests gathered for the CUNY SPH Foundation’s inaugural Public Health Futures gala.

The event’s highlight was the celebration of Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP—President and CEO of the National Association of Community Health Centers—for his transformative leadership in health equity and community health. Together, we raised more than $650,000 to support CUNY SPH students and advance vital public health initiatives. This inspiring evening marked the beginning of what promises to be a powerful and enduring annual tradition.
