Program Directors and Officers Resource Center

Welcome to the Program Directors and Officers resource center. Here, you will find tools and information to help you implement your program in collaboration with the CUNY SPH Foundation. Our staff is here to support you with:

  • Budget management
  • Human resources and payroll
  • Contracts and agreements with outside parties
  • Purchasing solutions

OVERVIEW

At the CUNY SPH Foundation, we classify faculty and staff leads differently from research-based projects. For Foundation-funded programs, the lead is classified as Program Director, where the lead on a research project is a Principal Investigator. Key support staff are referred to as Program Officers.

The CUNY SPH Foundation staff offers a full suite of holistic partnership from pre-grant submission through post-grant reporting. Services include full spectrum operations, program monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and relationship management. We assist from crafting a Letter of Interest to seeking renewed or additional funding.

All CUNY SPH Foundation grants must include a Board-mandated 10% indirect cost. The indirect fee covers: finance and business administration, operations support and all contract or agreement review. Depending on your project’s scope, the Foundation team will discuss applying direct costs to your budget if additional support is requested or required. Grants utilizing payroll services will be obligated to pay modest additional fees for use of these services.
